The Joan Whiting Rest Home is a small, not-for-profit home, run by a community

trust, located between the mountains and the sea at Collingwood in Golden Bay.

this isn't just

'a rest home'.

"It's their home.

"In a sense, I can say

we are their servants.

And we absolutely

respect that."
